cams!! question?

i just wanted to know the horse power and tq difference between the 102700(stage3) and 102600(stage2) cams from comp for the 4.6 mustang gt is there a large diffence? . how bad is the idle can if be daily driven? im thinking about getting the stg 3, does anyone have it? all i see is stage 2

i've been to the website and they are not sold in stages like some other companies. They are specified by grind number....

To the original poster....the 262ah is perfect for your current mods. the 270ah is a bit more aggressive and would be as far as i'd go for street. Should have P&P heads/ longtubes to take advantage of them. And the 278ah are just too aggressive for what you have. Dont forget you will need to upgrade your springs as well with the 270-278..or "stage 2/3"

i have the part number listed, there is three different cams 1 is mildest, 3 is most aggressive, what are u talkin about 270 262??

you think P&P heads would be a must with the 270s? i got a few bucks for X-mas and im thinking Cams, LT's and a Mongoose Kit in the summer. i need to mantain FULL streetability, as its a DD. i wouldnt mind a slightly aggressive/rough idle, but the 270s are as far as i'd go. also, i heard comp cams are more suited for S/C applications.
