Just wondering if there is anything in the A9L that would cause the airbag light to flash?

Thanks

You know what does make the airbag light come on??? Changing the whole column for a tilt column with a nice wheel and unplugging the blue box behind the radio.

Plus, watch some YouTube videos with those 1st Gen Ford airbags. Those suckers are probably the most powerful airbag out there.

Thanks. I only wanted to verify because I sold an A9L which was running my coupe fine and the guy who bought it says it also runs his car fine, but he claims it is causing his airbag light to flash. I told him I didn't think that was possible but he claims it is.

Airbag is completely separate. Has it’s own diagnostic module. As you can see, no connection to the ECU.

And as further evidence, the Ford 60-pin setup for a A9L. No airbag connection

Blinking airbag light is displaying a code, so I’d try and ID the code

It’s year specific but info on all years in this link

Would be bad if you were not wearing a seatbelt.
