Can I supercharge my car w/10.5:1 compression?

Guys,

What's your oppinions? With the mods in my sig. can I safely run a supercharger with maybe 6 or 8 lbs of boost with 10.5:1 compression. Will I be risking an explosion of some sort. I've talked to a few different people, and got a few different responses. Though none of them were running a sc with that compression. Any oppinions, and first hand experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry guys my mistake. My engine is 10:1 compression, not 10.5:1
