You must get a power adder tuned, no doubt about that. However, I can say that adding the Vortech is the BEST thing I ever did to my car. It is a total blast to drive now and the sound gets everyone's attention. At car shows people always check my car out much more than when it was N/A. Centrifugal blowers do make MOST of their power at the high RPMS, but my car is making 250rwhp and 365ft-lbs of torque at 3500rpms. So, a lot of power can be made down low as well.
I normally only crank my car up to 3500-4000rpms when "playing" with it on the street and I can tell you the power at that RPM is more than enough. I could run my car to 4000rpms with the blower and still outrun my car in N/A form while twisting it to 6000rpms.
