Hey guys. I have a brand new Paxton Novi 2000 kit that has been in a bag almost 10 years. I want to install it on my 93 coupe project but I'm afraid the oil seals may have dried up and will fail. What are your thoughts? The tech support guy at Paxton said since its an older model, nobody rebuilds them. I find that hard to believe. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

My car sat for a long time (months, maybe year plus), fired it up, pulled out of the garage, let it idle for a few minutes. Went to the gas station, came back to find an oil puddle. Oiled everything under the hood and was dripping. Wiped everything down, fired it, let it idle; no leak. Drove it a 100 miles, not a drop. Then went 300+ miles, no leak. The only thing that made sense was the front seal dried out, then sealed once saturated. Vortech V1, S-trim. FWIW.
