hey guys, A friend of mine has a typhoon intake upper and lower with new injectors and a set of headers. The intake has MAF attached to it. Can this set up be used on my 1986 gt? Can I run without the MAF?

Follow the proper tq sequence. I also like to put Carb studs in each corner to guide the intake onto the heads. This way your gasket won't have the chance to move.

Umm..Thats a good question, im not that good when it comes to EFI. I can tune a carb am pretty good with them. I have a whole intake and carb set up. But if this Typhoon intake bolts on then id use it. He said it has new bigger injectors. Do i need to do anything with the computer to make up for these changes? Im big into the diesels, not soo much gas engines lol

Do not change to carb, do not change the injectors. Bolt on the new intake and enjoy.
