Can you use a truck diff in a mustang fox?

Can you use a truck diff in a mustang fox? Like a 8.8 from a Explorer of an F150?

I believe the tubes are larger in diameter, and the length will be slightly wider than a mustang's.
My mustang had the dampers, if yours does also, you'll have to find some brackets to install on the truck housing or just not use them.

if you're asking if the differential will fit into the mustang housing thats a yes, all the 8.8s should be pretty much the same, but to fit a truck rear end assembly under a mustang is more work than its goin to be worth

You can use the diff from either and they are 31 spline instead of 28 so you have to upgrade your axles.
