cant get harwood hood to latch, need help!

You really have to play with it to get it to latch . There are two bolts that hold the latch mechanism in place that allow it to slide up/down/L/R , you may have to tweek where the hinges bolt to the hood as they allow for some back/forth travel . You have to keep adjusting to find the sweet spot . Did you transfer the spring and hook from a stock hood? I've seen others that actually had to take off the rubber stoppers and file them a bit .

Even when you get the hood to finally latch , I am still leary of it . I have seen many aftermarket hoods come up and smack the roof and dent the cowl . Pins are always good piece of mind...in my opinion!
