Is it okay to just cap the 2 lines going to the heater core? I pulled the core out, and am wondering what to do with the 2 exposed hard-lines pointing back twords the firewall. Can I just cap them off? Will coolent still flow properly? Or do I need to connect them togeather? Thanks for the help, since I don't want to drive this thing untill I know it's safe. ( Don't want to ruin the cooling system)

yea you can loop them together but one line is 5/8 the other is 3/4. I bought the plugs that you can cap the ends off with but I had one burst on me at the track so I just looped them together.

Interesting....I got 2 5/8's" caps and just stuffed them on, then put clamps around them. I guess I'll see how it does like this. The only thing I'm worried is the rubber material the caps are made of seem a little too soft, thin and plyable. NosPony: Did they burst out the end? Or did the whole thing come flying off?

i would get some tubing and loop them together and clamp it on that way you should have no issues w/ bursting and your fuild will still be able to move around in your system freely
