Gates should open before 5pm, but that is the scheduled time. Competition typically does not begin until about 7 with at least two passes given prior to the first round. I hope we can get as many Stangnetters there as last time when we had the best showing, ever.

I shall be there bearing valve covers, and i am hoping to bring a few people with me to race (although one might be a 93 Z28). I hope the weather doesnt become an issue.

I have every intention on being there, I'll start prepping the car in the morning but the weather doesn't look to be in our favor.

Weather report says 80% chance of rain until about noon and then decreasing to 10% by 7PM. That will probably mean a light crowd.

PR schedules the gates to open at 5PM due to all the complaints last year when they scheduled the opening for 4pm, and were always forced to open later. So expect the gates to open between 4 and 5. I usually try to arrive around 4, while in line, I get the car ready. The crowd is usually light until later in the evening, so you should be able to make a few quick passes.

Are you still running that 7.8? Are you using the DR's? I am a little worried about that but it's your call. Try to make a backup plan.

CCC #4. It's on their revised calendar.

OO-Saleen, you can Test and Tune too, of course. it's just that the CCC gives you some more passes. The cost for CCC is a one time fee of $5. so you cannot really go wrong. If you lose in CCC, you just T and T the rest of the evening.

Unless you are running some excellent DR's or slicks, you are unlikely to be satisfied with your first pass. You will need several, at least. Good luck!

Good times, I stuck around to the end and the Durango ended up beating the Corvette in the final round.

Sigh.

I love it! The owner of the Durango has 3 or 4 Mustangs with standard shift. I cannot lure him away from the NWMCC though; he's a good friend of Jason Biscay who is President.

Were you there? I had those valve covers and was looking for a blue 87 hatch like in your av.

Small correction John, RC races for Team Misfits, not NWMCC. Unless it was some other Durango that won!
