Sorry, I don't have any way to record a sound clip at the moment, but this is a great cam for a large cube Windsor engine.
It does have a noticeable lope at idle, but nothing radical. The factory tach is not accurate below about 2000 rpm (it reads 500 when the engine is off), so I can't say for sure at what RPM it's idling, but by ear it doesn't sound too high.
The torque curve is amazingly broad and it has great throttle response with the smallish Holley carb. I think it will go great with the rest of your combo.
