For those who are wondering or care what I've gotten done, I gotta tell ya that I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I realize that I'm three weeks past my estimate, but,...what can I say, I've been working on it diligently every single day.

I made a to do list last weekend of "final items" that was three pages long. I started working on the final list Saturday AM, and by Sunday was working on the last page. I thought I'd post it just to give you guys an idea of the little things that I have to do before I'll even think of trying to drive it, but the damn list is so long, I was afraid that I'd get a whole bunch of people bitching for Cliffs notes again.

Today I started it again. (first time it has run in three months since I decided to remove the stock tank.) Purged the new tank, and lines, matted the gas one time, turned the key and it lived. With the four mufflers installed, It definitely does not sound like a fox mustang. Instead it has the "desired effect" of a low rumble akin to the LS-1 that was in my GTO. It's in the air on jack stands so I took advantage of that and stepped on the clutch to see if i could get it to shift, it did. (like a charm).

I got to buff the pass side, install the 1/4 widow, install the remaining trim, and stripe. Install the interior, the roll bar, and harnesses and finally clean it up. Then we go to the alignment shop sometime this week.

Yeah!

Yeah! It's been one year since I pulled the tired 4 cylinder and stuffed in that 4.6. It has never ran ( under it's own power) since then.

I've never had the patience for drawn out projects like that. My 91 has been down since July 4th and it's driving me nuts.

Although my Dodge was down for 2+ years.

I can't say I have the patience for it either. The thing kinda got away from me. My average project lasts about 6 months. This one has drug out a little longer, primarily because I chose to modify the front and rear.
I am definitely ready to drive it though. ( I think I'll be able to do that Thursday)
Straight to the alignment shop.

#1 Trying to quiet the thing down (since it already had chambered mufflers)

#2 Trying to not sound like "just another Mustang".

I'd rather sound like "just another Mustang," then a stupid ol' GM... Just kidding, couldnt resist! You know once you drive it we are going to be demanding a video, just a heads up.

Well, truthfully, I'm not wanting it to sound "like" anything. I just want it to sound different.

The only thing I have to capture video is the same digital camera that I use to post pics. Although I can get 30 secs of video out of it, and it does record sound, I doubt that tiny-assed mic will tell you how it sounds.
