I had this setup already start before.
I didnt put it together the 1st time, and the pushrods got bent pretty good.
like 3 bent and 3 warped.

anyhow I changed the pushrods.

I think I did them right.
I did it by instructions from crane cam..which was.
exhaust starting to open...adjust intake
intake 2/3 closing adjust exhaust

after i did that i went back each one and it was loose still...loose meaning i could spin the pushrod by finger still and the rocker was a litttle wiggly
not alot just enough to make me think that .....if the car was running they would be tapping up a storm

anyone???????????help
when the

b and 1.7

You didn't mention a lot of things. I take it you have a stud type adj rocker. If thats the case then you adjusted correctly. Without lifters pumped w/ oil they will bleed down after you adjust. My concern is why the ppush rods got bent It sounds more like cam timing is off, but if you kep adjusting the rockers till theres no slack then you will have bottomed out lifter and will hold the valve open causing low or no compression on that cylinder. Check you cam to crank timing, then recheck you rocker adjust. Remember that after you have adj all the lifter will bleed down some. Hope this helps

Pretty easy with a pedistal mount rocker!! Tight is all there is... however...
Make sure that the valve spring is not stacked tight !! and there is enough room between the springs to fit a paper clip ( .030) when the valve is all the way open!! cool??
Next.. with a hyd lifter anf the engine off.. there is NO Oil pressure going to the lifters and the valve springs pushing on the push rod will push some oil out of the lifter.. giving you some "extra clearance" !! start the engine and let the lifters pump up and the noise "should " go away!!

Just me.........................
