Car wont start

Hey guys, I am new to the threads. I have an electrical issue with my 2000 Mustang V6 Base to where it will not start. When I turn the key, I get a single tone from the car. When pressing any button (Ex: windows) I get that same tone and parking lights come on. Starter, fuel/pump, battery are all good. I havent done any mods to the car.. seems like an open circuit? Any suggestions?

Try this red neck voltage test. Turn the head lights on. Are they bright? If not, it's time to find out why they aren't.

What happens exactly when the key is turned on? How about when the key is turned to crank? Do the headlights go out? Remain the same? Dim?

How about the condition of the battery, battery terminals, and battery cables?

Here's some more information on how to trouble shoot the battery and alternator.
