Carb Help!!!!

I rebuilt my Autolite 2100 carb but have a small problem. It is shooting gas through the top of the carb. It looks like a sprinkler system under my hood. Does anyone know what might be causing this? The carb is leaking through a small hole that is on top of the carb. It is located directly above the bowl. Is it possible that the needle or float is sticking or something is clogged? I took it apart and everything seemed fine.

your float is not working right. could be not adjusted right or you missed a part, put it together wrong, or maybe to much fuel pressure or just stuck.
