Caster/Camber Plates

I just recently purchased the steel UPR caster camber 3 bolt plates. I took them to the ford dealer and they put one of the plates on the drivers side they said that i would have to cut the hood for them to fit properly? So I was pretty mad and no i do not want the hood of my cobra getting cut up i went over the Steeda and purchase the 4 bolt polished camber plates (230.00) and of course they were fine. My question is: Has anyone heard anything about problems as far as the UPR 3 bolt plates?....Now I have these 130.00 plates for no damn reason and i don't want to sell them to someone else and come to find out they have the same problem....

They like to clunk a lot too, due to the bearing being bad or going bad quick

Ya, I don't think i will ever use UPR ever again. These steeda 4 bolt plates are so much better quality and they have way more room for adjustment than the UPR's. I guess you really do get what you pay for. I figured for once i would just try to save some money, lol that didn't work out...
