Ok so you all know im looking for a motor to build. I cam across a 302 near to my home town. The guy wants 25 bucks to get it out of his way. suppossedly it was blown and has a few bad cylinders. The local mechanic says the bore will clean it totally. It looks kinda dirty but it has been sitting I have pics to show you. Also the casting numbers he gave me. If anyone knows where I can find info about this number and how to decode it, it will be apperciated.

this is the best I can make from the pics. #'s D10E-6015-AA OL6

this is what he told me:

I bought the block and was told the engine was siezed and I showed the block to a mechainc and he said a few cylinders were bad because they were black and I think scraped up a bit. I don't think there were any major dents or anything. I was told if it was bored out it would be ok.
