cat back recommendations

as some of u know my car didn't pas inspection last week
for not having muffles just turn downs of the mid pipe like that
the last 2 years lol.. but tomorrow ima go to dallas mustang and
buy a whole cat back for my 03gt as much as i hate to say it i still
love that flowmaster sound but want something different want
something loud without off road pipe also thinking about guting
out my stock h-pipe to pas visual inspections

I used to have a Dr Gas (Spintech) X pipe with a Mac cat back on my ex's car. It gave a great sound and were both well built pieces. Now, I have a Bassani X pipe and welded in Flow's (on the car when I got it). Again, I like the sound and the x pipe is stainless. Just remember, H pipe = lower toned "muscle car" sound and, X pipe = higher pitched "indy car" sound.

I had o/r x and flows 40 series on my 96gt. It was a nice sound but did have a drone at highway speeds.

i would say slp. they are a little pricy but its all straight through piping, minimal bends, and ive heard great things from friends about them.

If you have any questions on Magnaflow please let me know. The Magnapacks will defiantly give you a nice deep aggressive tone. Given that they are straight though for wide open performance you will see a very good increase in power and torque. Our mufflers use a packing material as opposed to other chambered designs that can get somewhat raspy at higher rpms.

I can vouch for Magnaflows. I've had them for > 6 years and had no issues. Magnapacks are quite loud. Flowmaster type mufflers are for kids. If you want a nice sound, listen to Magnaflows before you made the final decision.
