after reading the other thread about removing the cats from the stock h, and knowing a welder who can do it cheap...can i just remove the pre-cat and resonator to just leave the 2 main cats in there so it can still be street legal? has anyone done this just to have the two remaining and have emissions still work?

well I dont think 2 stock cats will be enough to pass emissions but you could try. You may through a code also.

I would just buy a o/r mid pipe and when you need to do Echeck, swap in the stock one. Takes maybe 10-15 minutes.
