CD Player for 1990 lx 5.0

I have a 1990 lx 5.0 notch with the stock deck (yes, that piece of crap) and would like to get an CD player to replace it. The question I have is, what other type of connector will I need if I just want to get a stock factory CD player. If getting an aftermarket deck is better and won't cost much more please let me know. I intend on getting a used factory player from Ebay or something like that but if aftermarket is better I'd go that route. I just want to save some cash!!

aftermarket is definately better, your 1990 stock speakers will sound very very clear, you will definately hear a a big difference, also you will be able to play your music louder without distortion

Get the aftermarket, Crutchfield? (Is that the name of the company) sells connectors that will allow you to just plug your aftermarket stereo into the factory harness. Replace the speakers too, its not that much more, and it will sound much better.
