CD Receiver Install Question

I want to install my Pioneer DEH-P3600 cd player in my 00 GT w/Mach 460 this coming week. I see that Crutchfield has a Scosche OEM Amplifier Adaptor so you can use the factory amps w/aftermarket head unit. Some of the reviews on that product aren't so re-assuring. Anybody know how I could install the Pioneer and still use the factory amps w/out using that Scosche adaptor? If worse comes to worse, I can buy the adaptor, but i'd like to bypass it if it's possible. Thanks for any Info

I would just run new wire to each speaker. I HATE factory systems. Im yanking my Shaker 1000 next week

You'll just have to pick the lesser of 2 evils,but i agree with iskwezm,running new wire will be the only option if you don't want to use the adaptor.

I had that piece of crap. Didn’t work at all. Sounded like crap so I ran all new wires and put in aftermarket amps.

When I installed a different head unit on my sisters Acura with a Bose system there was one of those adapters and it made the sound quality horrible after calibrating it. So we just by-passed that and hooked the wires up directly and it sounds great. These adapters are a waste of money and time IMO.

Cool, thanks for the input guys. I read a couple good reviews on it and a couple bad reviews on it on Crutchfield. I just wanted to hear some experiences from fellow Stang Enthusiasts on here.
