Changing all black ponies to silver lip

I noticed a couple guys have the dark ponies with silver lip. I think it looks much better than all black/argent so I want to try it out. What would be the best way to strip the lip down to silver? FYI, my wheels are powdercoated not painted.

You'll most likely have to sand blast or bead blast the powercoating off. I don't think there's a chemical available to "strip" them.

Thanks ss, I figured removing powdercoating wouldn't be as simple. Guess I'll check with a few shops and get some estimates.
