Changing my interior

So I am really sick of the stock beigh color in my 95 Convertible GT.
I was thinking about getting some of this and using it to paint the beigh parts of my interior a dark blue color.

Vinyl interior paint

Any body have any experience with this stuff?
Does it work?
Does it last?
Will it rub off if I armor all my interior?

I will also be changing the carpet to a similar color. I cant find color swatches for this stuff anywhere.. anybody have any ideas?

AND, any links to how to pull my interior apart completly?

I've bought that exact stuff from them when I did my door panels. It works great as long as you prep it. I cleaned it good with a degreaser, then sprayed may light coats. Make sure you turn the can upside down after every time you finish painting to clear the nozzle. If not, then it gets clogged and won't spray evenly.

I used Duplicolor vinyl dye, as well as there Mirage for accent pieces. Came out spiffy, and lasts under abuse!

And its just too plain I guess. I just got some carpet samples in the mail and I think I am going to go with the navy blue.. so its a dark blue.
I am not 100% set on it yet.. I might want it a bit lighter, but I dont want it to bright.. we'll have to see what I can get my hands on.

I have no way to confirm, but I would assume so.. its the same material as the door panels isnt it?

If the vinyl is soft and "gushy" or padded when you push on it, I know that Duplicolor will take and hold up very nicely on that type of material. If the vinyl material is very rigid, is of a harder vinyl product seeming more like plastic to the touch, then Duplicolor would not be a good option if the parts were to take some abuse. Krylon makes a good vinyl dye for the harder vinyls. Duplicolor and Krylon are the same companies now.

What ever you do, do NOT get glossy finished dye, they will look horrible. Even the non-glossy or matt finishes will be a little shinier than the stock finish. But after some Armor All or whatever you use, they will look the same.
