Why is my new motor puffing smoke out which smells like burnt oil?
Nice numbers. My car will puff some smoke and it smells like burnt oil behind me the first time I step on hit after it has been sitting for about 7-12 days. If I drive is every day or every few days, it doesn't do it. I am not going to worry about it, but being your engine is new I would be pist off. Ask him about piston rings, and/or valve seals.
