Cheap TT setup

I would get it. But I wouldn't put install it with stock bottom end. Unless you get a manual boost controller. To keep the boost at 6psi. Maybe even 8psi. Anything higher and I think you'll will be looking at detonation. Also I would get an EEC-IV so you can tune it. As far as the intercooler goes. You can always get a bigger one.

Hmmm.... I'm guessing that our A9Ls just won't do.

Whether the A9L will work or not? You're right I dont know. But I do know with the EEC-IV you can adjust your fuel curves, ignition, boost...etc. I dont know if you can do that with the A9L. If you can let me know. But I do know if the you cant get the fuel curves right under boost and run to lean. You will detonate your engine if you running it hard.

To get rid of that you can just use a fuel with a higher Octane rating. If you are not tuned correctly you can have detonation at an idle, it depends what you have tuned it for.

Side note, A good friend of mine runs 32psi of boost in his 1G DSM on C16
He has gone 11.4 @ 127 with a 1.7 60'.......should be in the 10.9x's once he gets the launch down:eek:

thats sick..

umm our a9l is an eec-vi

Hidden behind the passenger side kick panel of your Mustang is the core of your car's performance capabilities - the Ford Electronic Engine Control version Four (EEC-IV, pronounced eek-four).

I meant one of the ones from Andersons Motorsports IV. If I can use an A9L and remap it. Please let me know. I have an 86 and Im about to convert to mass air. So if I can adjust everything with the A9L via laptop then it will save me some money.

I think you are talking about the PMS, I know it can control alot of the sensers and stuff....I have never used it i am not sure about the fuel maps

stay away from SSautochrome. they're stuff is known to be junk. go to turbomustangs.com and search for ssautochrome or XS power

thats what I was looking for. 1400 for a TT setup seemed a little too good to be true.

if your looking into a tweecer and don't know very much i would suggest spending the little extra on a PMS. i love mine and with a wideband i got rid of all my driveability problems, and the MAP sensor feature is nice for pulling timing under boost
