Now the big question is will the car run? I still havent got mine started and i'm scared ass hell of it not working.

i was also scared when doing the 306.... i have never had an engine out before, let alone rebuild one... put it back in and if fired the first try what a weight off my shoulders

Dammit, it seems I'm the only one NOT making any progress on my stang. My damn twEECer didn't even come in today, wtf is up with that?

Yeah I was pulling a 302 from a Continental in high school autoshop and that thing fell from about 24" in the air (the whole thing). The car was on the lift and the force lifted the back of the car in the air and the front end hit the ground. Nobody was in a position to get hurt but man it was scary.

.....2 in the morning and I just threw in the towel....everything was going GREAT until I snapped a bolt off in the lower intake trying to install my thermostat housing. Then when I was drilling it out I snapped the drill bit off in there too so it was impossible to drill the ting out. So I called a freind, bought a new cobra lower intake manifold, swapped that in but now its too late and im to tired to do anymore. I still have some wiring to do, 02 sensors, vortech, alternator, some cooling system stuff, tranny fluid, p/s fluid, oil, filter, plugs, new sparkplug wires that I have to cut to fit, tighten up my exhaust, and the upper intake manifold/TB. Oh and then I have to install my firewall adjuster/cable/ quadrant. I was supposed to leave tomorow afternoon and now i think i still will, itll jsut be in the back of my moms station wagon . There is a hurricane hitting late tomorow night/early friday so I might even stay an extra day and maybe then itll be done but I heard highway driving is bad for new engines. Im really mad at myself for not being able to finish it, its times like these I wish I never had a mustang. Oh well,.
