These dudes are some locals that build monster turbo 4cyl the guy in the dart owns one of the local speed shops. Some might hate on these cars but they are flat out fast and getting faster.

What engine specifically is in each one? I assume the Mustang has an SVO-based setup?

Both cars have dsm 4g63's. I think the builds were kind of a little grudge match between the two of them. I just thought the fox with a 4g63 was something you dont see, especialy one that runs that good.

I would rather have one in a 5 speed, hmm. mighty max trans and a 4g63 in a old notch sounds fun.. sounds more fun than a svo motor in one..

no offense, but you gotta pretty extensive list of mods,..how much money did it take you to get to 11 oh?would you say 2500, 3500, more? (hell the S/C cost over 3k) how much more do you think it'll cost to shave a second off that????

I'll agree to the "twice the money part", but you might need to change the second part of your statement to just as fast.

when you put a turbo on it, done right, you can make a brick go fast.

I think its cool to be different. I like how they took the wing off that car, I never like the look of a hatch with the wing off, but it makes the car look a lot smaller. I just couldnt do it because of the sound of the 4cyl but can still appreciate the work.

35 psi sounds pretty tough...not the typical turbo 4. he's making over a thousand hp nowadays. pretty cool stuff. Can you even get that much out of a 4g63t? I know they're tuff, but dang, that's a lot.

its been done ALOT more than a 2.3 ford lima motor, pretty much because the head actually flows decent lol They are some tough little motors, **** the 2.3 block will hold more power than a 5.0.

Pretty much anything these days will hold more power than a stock 302 block, haha.

WOW all i can say is who ever shot that vidio was right HOLY F@*! How offten do you see that. Big props. Rollin by people with half the motor hurting feelings!! I dont care if i could beat him he's still going to make you look bad ! Im sure it did cost twice as much build prob . could win that back on a few Sunday nights doin a little grudge runnin!!
