chrome gas tank :)

I had the inclination to coat my intake today. It took about 6 hours....and I will have to finish it tomorrow. I still have about 2.5 hours of work left. Here is a pic. Notice the reflections. Those are from items on the table next to the tank. They arent splotches or discontinuities.

I heard that chrome traps heat in. Like the chrome oil pan keeps the oil hotter or a chrome intake keeps the heat in? What do you think?
