Replacing my clutch and got a new clutch fork and pivot ball. It had a lock washer under the pivot ball. I don't recall there supposed to one being there.
Can anyone confirm which is right as I'm concerned if screwing up the pedal feel Dir to added length, etc.

I believe people use a washer to change the pivot angle of the fork.
Mine is that way as suggested by the guy at promotion, but I really don't know if it truly works.

Thanks. I'm guessing it won't hurt but was hoping there was more comments on this.

As an update, after a lot of searching, apparently there IS supposed to be this lock washer there.

Pulled the pivots off two bellhousings I have to find a good one.

Both had a single lock washer underneath.

My 83 had a lock washer... Don't reuse it, get a new one.... ALWAYS use a new split lock washer... They wear out...

What are you referring to by "it" the lock washer?

I'll have to measure when I get a chance.

Appears this is 7/16-14 threaded, so you would need a 7/16 split lot washer

Forgot the thickness.

So a little over 1/8” thick. Not sure how precise that needs to be
