Hey. Im planning on doing the T5 conversion this spring, and the hardest part for me is finding a set of pedals for my '68. They are on ebay, but expensive. I have power brakes right now, and plan to run 13" cobras up front sometime as well. Do i really need the power brake setup? or is there a way to convert the manual one to work as well? All help is appreciated.

Oh, and let me know if you have a set for sale as well :D

Do you mean with the booster or with the discs and a manual master cylinder?

If you use a manual MC and the correct hanger and pedal, manual will be correct, and work as it should.

If you want to use a manual pedal with a booster, you will need the hanger as well, as it has a different pedal pivot location. (lower to make up for the higher brake pushrod pin on the bedal)

I'm guessing it would feel wierd though, easy to use a lot of brakes (and lockup) with a lot of travel, so you wouldn't get much feel.
