Cobra intake and injectors in GT

Several things to think about here

First things first

"Some People" ... are just mis-informed

Ford OEM meters are not calibrated for ANY particular size injector

That means the GT meter is not caled for 19's
and
The Cobra meter is not caled for 24's

Case in point ... I ran that little OEM meter with 30's for quite a while

And Yes ... The exact same meter is used in both GT & Cobra

Who knows how that ProM meter is setup
but
If it is caled for 19's

Well ... Consider this reasoning

An aftermarket meter with a 19# cal is like a screendoor on a submarine

It just don't make sense

The GT/Cobra OEM meter is gonna be ..........
more than adequate
more accurate in most cases

You need to be moving more air ... a good bit more air ... before the need
for a meter arises

If truth be told ... you will run out of injector
before
You run out of meter

Same kind of deal goes for the throttle body

The stocker will carry you pretty far before upgrading becomes efficient

When I wanted to have a basic understanding of this stuff

I lurked around on sites that had smart folk who had successfully
accomplished the stuff I desired to do

from my understanding the maf cant be "tuned" the ecu is tuned, mafs can be cal'd to work with the stock ecu settings for a certain # injector however

Now Grady you and I know full well the size of the tb is directly dictated by the size of the hole on the intake. I mean choosing a tb based on cfm vs. how cool it sounds saying 70/75mm, well the choice is obvious.

Missinformed i dont think so, I think yall need to read what he said its a Pro-m meter caled for 24's. Yes I understood what he ment because you dont tune a Maf.

I told him that he didn't need to run 24's but he wants to, so please tell me why not use the meter when it is set up for 24's?

And yes to answer your question everything you have will work with no problems.

Sorry Gardy, I thought that was directed at me like I was giving fasle info.

I ran almot the same set up except it was with a Pro-m 77mm I belive it was with 24lb injectors and it ran just fine maybe a little rich but it did fine
