I've never heard of it having any problem and, since this problem is unique to the Chinese-made Cobras, I wouldn't think so.

ok.. not trying to hijack this thread, but I just pulled the plug from the cylinder that had the glowing header tube.. definitely lean.. could oil in the cylinders cause it to run lean?

I got the larger baffle today...i can't remember where it goes...bottum of the lower intake manifold?

Im geting a Cobra intake from blue oval and saw the pic in this thread of tthe new oil baffle from ford. How much do these new baffles cost. From my local ford dealer it is probably as much as the intake...lol

Since its saturday and no ford parts place is open I thought I would ask you guys.
How much does one cost?

If you call the Ford Racing Performance tech line they'll send you one for free. Otherwise, the one guy I've talked to that bought a used intake and had to buy the baffle said he paid less than $15.
