ok, ok After about 15 total hours and about 80 phone calls to Tim @ T&J(thanks Tim) my installation is FINALLY complete. I've got the Novi 2000 kit with the Steeda adaptive tune, complete with 30# injectors, 80mm MAf, Steeda fuel pumps, new plugs, and Autometer fuel pressure and boost gauges on a full a-pillar dual pod.

I will be dyno-ing the car tomorrow, so I will post the results then. Car runs great right now, but I haven't really gotten on it that much until after tomorrow--just to make sure the A/F ratio is safe.

Just want to say a couple things....if anyone is an amateur and is debating whether or not to install the blower themselves, go ahead and dive into it! I'm about as close to an amateur as you can find...at least until I called Tim a thousand times and did it myself

Oh, and just for the record, Tim's customer service is unbeatable!! Even when Paxton was giving us *****, Tim helped me get it straightened out.

Sounds great, I am really interested to see the dyno numbes with the Paxton. I have seen a lot with the vortech but not any with the Novi 2000.

congrats man, I'm going to do my own install as well. good to hear you got through it with Tim's help. I'm starting to get parts as of Monday.

After the holidays we need a new poll: How many cobrakiller cars are on SN? I bet there will be small army.

Sorry if this is :OT: , but I was considering egtting this kit as well (maybe not for a year or two, we'll see). I was leaning more towards this kit than the Vortech because I have heard that the Vortech head units have a higher failure rate than the Paxton. Is there any truth to this? BTW, it's always nice to hear of another Stang getting a blower. Keep it up!

Most would say Vortech is hard to beat for reliability. the Novi has better brackets from what i heard, and of course is a larger blower than the S trim. Worth the extra money? Only you can decide. think about this though, at the boost levels where the Novi will out perform the vortech the steeda stuff won't keep up (30lb injectors, maf etc).

I wanted the Novi originally, but if your not planning on going north of 500-600 hp the S trim will support you. Sorry for the hijack.

The only upside to the novi is the performance as far as I can see. Arent they intercooled as well?? The vortech was cheap and rock solid. I can make up the power in other areas.

I live in Georgia and was thinking about going to Tim at T&J Performance to get some 4.10's installed and have my chip tuned better. I've got an autologic chip and I was wondering if they have the software to flash an autologic chip. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

Good point...yes, you are right about the Vortech and the Novi being very similar on the stock block. But because my plans are to have at least 550rwhp by the end of this next summer, the Novi will support my needs better. And yes, all the steeda stuff will have to be upgraded as well.

Lets start that poll

It does not come with an intercooler, but you can buy the Paxton air-to-air intercooler to fit right up to it.

As far as the 4.10's I would highly recommend him. He put in my 3.73's at the same time as my Cobra Killer and did a OUTSTANDING job. They are as smooth or smoother than stock.

I don't know about re-flashing the autologic chips. If I had to Guess, I would say yes. I just had him re-program my entire computer. He corrected for my gears in his tune for the SC.

Give him a call, he can at least tell you what he can do.
