Cobra Lower question!

I've read several post saying that porting the lower cobra intake is worth some good horsepower.

If I do this, will I have to port the heads as well (GT-40 heads) and port match the upper. In my experience, one thing generally leads to doing a bunch of other things and spending lots of unexpected money! Just trying to keep it under control here.


Edit: after christmas I will be changing my head gaskets and advancing my cam, so I figured that if I am going to port the lower, might is well do it now.

I would suggest port matching to a Felpro 1250 gasket. You should not have to port the head.

Or better yet contact tmoss and have him do it for you.

no need to port the intake for stock GT40 heads..........
