Cobra R Hood Fitment????

Just bought a 95 GT.

It has a cobra r hood... semi-installed. As in bolted on.

The hood latch doesnt really latch though.

It looks to me like the hood doesnt fully engage the hatch.

Anyone have fitment issues with this hood and what can I do to take care of it?

Just lube the latch. The R hood I got from ford did the same thing. Long as I keep the latch lubed, it always closes great. If that don't work try repositioning your latch.

I moved the latch up all the way and over a bit... its WAY below the fender sides now and still wont close. Looks like it needs maybe 1/8" to get it to latch down.

The latch seems low for me.

If I drop it from about 10 to 20 inches it closes fine.

I adjusted the latch all the way up... at least it closes now.

The Fender is about 1/8" higher on the pass side and just barely raised on the drivers side.

Is there anyway to adjust the fender height on these cars???
