code problem

Well checked my codes and came up with 10, and 113 which i found 2 diff problems with. 113 (O,M) IAT sensor is/was high or open - IAT
113 O,R Intake Air Temperature sensor circuit indicates open circuit/below -40 degrees F

Does that just mean the sensor is junk. thanks jay

10 is not a code, we only have 3 digit codes. Re-read the codes again and see what you get. You may have to do it a couple times just to get the hang of it. Any codes will be repeated twice.

111 = all ok BTW.

Like Scott said .... you need to pull the codes & again & make sure that is a code you're getting. From the sound of it .... you MAY have not done it right because 10 is not a code. I've pulled codes incorrectly myself in the past. Not saying you did ... but just a thought.

The point is that anything you read after 10 could be skewed because the third digit for the first code became the first digit of the second code (that's one possibility).

I would repull the codes (I've had to do it multiple times myself - I dont pay attention to the test light very well). :D

Good luck.
