Ok, so I've got an Actron codescanner for the EEC-IV that works just fine, but it's been a year or so since I've had to use it, and it seems I lost the book that came with it. Well, my check engine light in my 93 LX is on. I don't want to buy another scanner just to get the damn book. Does anybody know where I can go (websites, etc...) to find the code meanings, as well as the clear/test procedures? Like I said, been a while, can't remember how to use this stupid thing! Help!!!!! :bang:

Post your codes here. I have most if not all the 5.0 Mustang related ones along with instructions on how to actually fix the problems..

The manual is a free download from http://www.actron.com/publish/2004/06/23/pdf_english_16153.pdf. You will need to install the Adobe Acrobat viewer first, which is also a free download – http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Once you have opened the link, the Acrobat reader will give you the opportunity to save a copy locally.

A search on dump codes would have shown you how to do it with a 2 cent paper clip or jumper wire. You could have used the $25-$30 for some go fast goodies...
