I've had this set up for months but it’s been noisy lately and it got me thinking about how unstable it seems. I think ideally, the cap on top of the spring would interface with the bottom of the cars chassis. The problem with that would be that it would set in the 3-4" hole in the strut tower and would not move for alignment settings (right?). Right now I have a couple spacers (~1.15") on top of that cap that keeps it from setting on the chassis, so basically the spring doesn't have a strong interface with the chassis, just the spring=>cap=>spacer=>bottom of CC plate like in the diagram. Is this the best way I can do it or am I missing the boat?
