Coilovers vs lowering springs

I'm looking to lower my stang for the track. Eibach looks solid as far as coils, but I hear plenty of good things about coilovers, mostly from my import friends. Would you mustang gurus out there please give me some wise words on which way to go? Coilovers are seem to be so much more expensive, but I assume you get what you pay for...

Also, can someone link me to some coilovers for the S197? I saw an article on a set (purple/yellow, the company's colors), but I don't remember the name. And yahoo's just giving me forum threads and FOX versions...

I'm not sure the shock mounts are up to the task of supporting the weight of the car. I'll take a look at mine out in the shop tomorrow again.. Most of the import guys are dealing with a lot less weight and their cars are typically mcPherson strut anyways..

The Saleen's do ~.97 in the skidpad. I have test driven one and the ride was not too harsh at all for daily driving.

The front's on mustangs are coil overs.

http://www.kw-suspension.com/en/index.php

I read of this company working on an 05 kit a while back in 5.0, MMFF, or some other magazine. But the prices make my eyes hurt, compared to eibach's sport kit. But I assume you get what you pay for...

Some things, such as the panhard rod and lower control arms, should be changed to adjustable regardless of how you lower your stang, right?

ypu have no idea how much better it will ride and handle with coilovers...my g/f's 05 i put on the KW's and with a 2" drop it still rides like a caddilac but corners like a vette, BIG ASS IMPROVEMENT over the pro kit which is harsh IMO (she had those too)

not only will the ride be more smoother but it'll level out the suspension geometry better.

and save a lil bit a weight too.
