Alright guys I finally think I have my combo picked out, here's what I have , Afr 165's, crane1.7 pedestal roller rockers, performer rpm intake, 65mm throttle body, and full exhaust with shorties, and 3:73. So far Ive bought the afr, performer rpm intake, and 65mm throttle body, and exhaust.

I think this is a pretty good combo but I'm having a little problem deciding on a cam, Ive searched through old threads and I think i'm going to go with the tfs stage 1. This cam is rated to 5500 rpms, but the performer rpm intake is rated to 6500 rpms. Is this a bad choice of cams considering this mis-match. I know picking the write combo is key. What about an alphabit cam? anyone running afr heads, preformer rpm, and trick flow cam.

I know everyones going to tell me custom grind, but i dont have the money,..

i have 165's, trick flow track heat intake(1500-6500 like the rpm), and stg 1 cam. it all works very well together and i have no problem pulling to the rev limiter.

i would go stud mount instead of the pedastal rockers, and if you think you need more cam just retard the tfs1 4 degrees.

Almost Identical to my old combo.

I had the Crower 15511 cam though and a ported Cobra Made 306/330 at the wheels no tuning.

Yes do stud mount, it is a PITA to get the right geometry on pedastals. It took shims and diff pushrods for me to get mine right AND A LOT of time. trial and error.
