That is very good compression for a 9 year old car. You have better compression than most people on this board. You should have no problems as long as the car is tuned properly.
yep, you have an engine that's as healthy as the day it was built. my car got a 141-152, and thats considered pretty good.... you're off the charts my friend
I don't know, they seem (to me) alittle too high for a car that old. I'd suspect soemthing wierd, but hey maybe you got the miracle motor, in which case it's begging for a blower. My compression is in the 140's which is about normal.
The car was driven by a really old guy before i bought it last year. The thing was mint. I had a problem with my heads being warped after a blown headgasket though. I blanchard ground about .005" off of each one due to the warping. That may explain a somewhat higher compression. Well, just waiting for my damn fuel pump and i'll be up and running with pics.
