I'll start off by saying I'm kinda a newb to this in depth work....
so i was going to do a little work tonight but don't have a compression guage. i just removed my timing cover and my haynes manual states I should put the crank TDC on the compression stroke b4 I mark my chains. I don't have a pressure guage to work with tonight. In my head I'm not understanding what difference it would make if it's on combustion or exhuast when I mark my chains and cam wheel.
Soooooo... do i need to do this? Is there any other way to find it?
