Found another one, this time it's a 93 notch, but still carbureted. Apparently it is next too impossible to find a nice looking EFI Stang in ohio. If anyone is curious about the notch, here's a link:

Talked the guy down to 7k in a matter of minutes, so most likely I could negotiate down to 6.

The problem with this car for me is not that it was converted to carb it's that it is Jegs engine, which is Blueprint motors. If it has aluminum heads they are Chinese made. I think a quality top end on a higher mileage stock shortblock is better than this.I actually LIKE this coupe! I'd take this Coupe for $6k all day long. From that picture it looks really clean and the paint looks great. This guy has a lot of $$$ sunk into this car. My only problem is the EFI to carb switch. Why do that? It hurts resell but still, for the right price, could be a great driver. This car has a fresh rebuilt motor, assuming clean interior since the rest of the car looks good, and all the body, paint and weather stripping looks to be good for years to come.
Do you realize how much MONEY it takes to get a 20 year old Fox and restore it to that condition??? Probably $15k if you started with a run down fox that needs all the TLC (motor rebuild, body, paint, interior, electrical, trans) and it'd take years of working in the garage and purchasing tools to get it done.
If people have built a Fox they'd know that even $10k is a "budget" resto build. Heck, since I bought my Fox I've probably spent nearly a $1,000 just in tools to be able to work on the car in my garage and trust me I already had a ton of tools. What I didn't have was an engine hoist, , load leveler, engine stand, my welder (to weld my subframes and smooth engine bay), converted welder to C25 gas plus getting a quality auto darkening welding helmet, grinders and discs, Devilbiss paint gun, etc.....

Eh, i dunno. Need more pics. Mismatched color on the nose, and what looks like rust under the pass door.
Parts list looks great but i have a feeling the car is not worth it.
At the end of the day only you can decide what is a resaonable price. I personally would not buy that car, it still has work to be done. One question that I am surprised no one asked and I missed at first is, what is under the bra? Also if you look closely when they painted it, they painted over the door striker, and there seems to be some over spray on the weather stripping, that gives you some idea about the quality of the paint work/restoration. I still think for that money you can get something more. Be patient.Price for the cobra is 6250 delivered to my front door, is this a reasonable price. I have about 100 pictures of the vehicle and a video of it running. Everything looks and sounds great!!
This is what a $6k Fox looks like, and you could even get it a little cheaper than this too if you know how to haggle.
