Grant makes very nice wheels. I have this model in my Cobra but instead of being Black Mahogany like this picture, it's Carbon Fiber (almost looks like snakeskin - see 2nd pic.) This model is # 1178 while mine was 1114. You'll enjoy your new wheel!

I have a grant wheel in my car and it gave me a real hard time on installation. It would bind up constantly and I installed it correctly. It eventually loosed up but it made me really nervous at first.

Everything else hasn't quite started yet. Been too busy. Plans are to start this week coming. Going to polish the brackets first. Once that is done, I can start bolting things together.

I would go for something a little more original than the Grant wheels shown in this thread. The fact that Canadian Tire has one on sale should be a good indication that that accessory is an old and tired look. There are way nicer wheels out there. I suggest looking around a bit more. Personally I'd rather keep the stock wheel, but that's just me.

Good info...but it's all about personal choice as you stated, I really like the look of it and have not seen them often.
