New (and old) guy here considering a tire and wheel swap for my newly purchased 2000 stang.

Currently the car has 205/65 R15's, which look a little small in the rear, and I am looking for something to give it a little more aggressive stance without sacrificing too much fuel economy (did I mention I'm a little old).

Suggestions?

Take it from another old guy, you're never too old to enjoy a Mustang. The worse thing they did with these cars is NOT putting big enough tires/wheels on them. You can safely go up to a 17" set up without any real noticable change in performance or gas mileage. There are lots of seller on ebay that sell 17" GT setups (tires and wheels) for decent prices. I personally think the 99-04 design was made for an 18" set up (like mine :D ), but there's a big price jump going from a 17" to 18" set up.
