Convertible Top Question

Anyone know if there is a difference in the vert top frame on a 88-90 and a 91-93. I want to put a headliner in my 90, can I just go buy one for a 91-93 or do I need to change the frame to make it work? I just bought a new top and haven't put it on yet, I want to put it on soon but if I have to change the frame for a headliner then I need to just grin and bear it and buy stock in duct tape.

Yes, the later tops are built to stack lower. They take a different frame, top and boot than the earlier ones.

I guess the main part of my question was, can I just get a headliner from a later model and put it in mine? Or are they different enough that it would just be too much work?

As far as i know no. Frames with headliners are specifically set up for headliners, I wanted to put a headliner in my 90 vert and i was told i couldnt

that sucks, that either means I have to buy a frame from a later model, or go to a custom apholstry shop.

Most of the ones I've seen are for 83-93
