Convertible tranny cross member

I dropped a 5.0 w automatic tranny in my 90 fox convertible it was a 4 cyl. Car. The cross member is to big to fit in original cross member slot and to smal for the mounts beside it that are closer to the front of car. The tranny also wont reach the original cross member
Does any one know what i should do to correct this?

I can’t actually tell what’s going on in this pic.

Can you give a pic of the cross member instead? What trans are you using? AOD? What did the cross member come out of?

From what I can see, the crossmember mount looks correct
