I think the Corner-Carvers site may have done the "deep 6", gone to the bottom or worse.............imploded.

Can any of you guys/girls get it up?

I pinged the server and it returned the IP address - 216.120.231.252. It appears to be dead or no web server at this address. My firewall could be hosing things as well.

It has been months since I have visited this site. Give them some time to revive the server.

Here it is: http://www.corner-carvers.com/ and it will be interesting to see them "eat some crow" as it has been down for several days.

Of course "StangNet" keeps moving forward.

Yep, I've been trying to visit for several days now... Maybe their server went belly up, or maybe they didn't pay their provider? 'Tis the season to forget things like that...

Oh come on now Henry. You know what it's like over there. No crow will be eaten.

Unlike StangNet, they have no sponsors. Just a few guys flipping the bill. I doubt it will go away as it's a tight bunch. If money were an issue, getting people to chip in to support the sight wouldn't be, as the tech they bring is second to none. Granted, at times they bring it while handing somone their arse, it's definitely a place to learn a lot about racing, setup theories/practices, and general information.

It didn't. There's a thread over on the Corral talking about it. Don't know if linking to other forums is a no-no, but it's not hard to find the thread if you go over there. Basically, sounds like a bandwidth issue. We should know Jan. 1.

No question it is a different type of site and I had my rear handed to me several times.

Hopefully it will get worked out.

Some of those boys dont get out much, but they do know the performance stuff.

Even if the site disappears, I hope the data is still intact and can be published for searching. Too many good threads on the site to go to waste.

They're back online. It seems that the bandwidth doubled in the month of December. Guess they're becoming a little more popular.

Buddha, they will take care of the "mall kids" in very quick fashion. The more I stay away from posting on the site, the more I like the group.

I always have the old "generation gap" thing going on when I put up some info.
