Correct BBK cold air intake system?

So i bought this from a guy earlier and he swears it fit on his V6. I cannot for the life of me fit it on my intake. Wont clear the firewall and the nozzle for the tube wont reach. Also, this may sound weird but my stock intake doesnt have an air flow tempeture sensor????? Here is the ad for it. I researched it and it looks like the BBK system for a 94 95 5.0.

I am positive that is for a 99-04 V6 Mustang.

I just installed the bbk cold air intake on my 97 v6 mustang and its pipes look different then the ones you have shown in the picture. They don't look long enough

it was also a bit of a pain in the ass to install, and the pipes seemed like they could have been a little bit longer. it would have made life easy

Yea, the first pipe looks different than the one pictured. the inlet is further down on mine thatn the one in the pic and the air flow temp gauge hole is on the other side on mine.
