I am trying to figure out what I am going to do about a new motor. I am not ready to drop $7k or more on a fancy new motor that will make 300 at the wheels. What I am thinking about is getting an Explorer 5.0L and putting some boost to it. It would be the equivalent to boosting a stock Mustang motor. The results would be similar to what most people are getting - around 300 to the wheels and it can be done for about $5k. Why wouldn't this be a good plan?
